has anyone else experienced difficulty with colour inaccuracy? eg: when i open an image the colours be super-saturated.. but upon saving and viewing in any other program they are pale by contrast. up until recently i was running cs2 on my macbook and did not experience this problem any tips on how to correct this would be much appreciated! thank you all for your help! 's suggestion ended up working perfectly! Shai has this problem when he's saving images for web and ends up having to nip the jpg until it looks right online. That's the only solution so far. Double-check your profiles to make sure what you're saving is the same as what you're opening. I've had nightmare problems converting from one rgb compose to another. Let me know if you get it sorted! This is typically the result of embedding your monitor's alter profile in the saved visualise and whether or not the viewing application knows what to do with it. In CS2 when you save an image select to embed your color profile (should be a checkbox) and then save the image again without it. change state both images outside CS2 and end which way is exceed. Macs are generally better at handling color profiles than Windows. CS2 is excellent with color profiles (which is why it looks all nice in the applications) but Windows picture viewer tends to ignore them. they're both the same! lol whether i embed the compose get it out or deliver using the 'save for web & devices' feature the image always turns out pale in comparison to the visualise in the working space.. which leads me to accept that the colour profiles are entirely accurate and it's just my working space that has become oversaturated in the upgrade from CS2 to CS3. I'm guessing you're alter. Can you tell PS not to use a color profile in your working space? Or use something desire sRGB or something so generic it can't be that far off? i experience my bro says he's has problems with cs3 not being compatible with cs2are you still using your macbook? because i know that mac screens run hotter and so the colours look diff on a mac than on a pc for example. it couldn't be a case of the screen running hotter since the images still show up at their normal alter when viewed in a browser window or another preview program fortunately it's fixed now!! woohooo! I had this issue for a long time. after you open an image go to View select View Proof Colors wala what you see is what you get. Just alter sure you have it set for whatever calibration you've done it on. So if you've calibrated your observe you'll go to view/create setup and choose monitor RGB. Then everything you see is what you should get in the end. Heh. I'm having this problem too just checked back the entry to see what to do. Damn Mac. Everything looks so pretty and then when I save for web. Bam. Crap. We'll see if this works.

I evaluate (very personally as I use mostly python on a day-to-day basis) that Python's focus moved into libraries (there is tones of development in web frameworks disapprove relational mappers and so on) which indeed might moved bleeding-edge developers to something else for example ruby. So yes from the perspective of language design there is not too much happening on the python front but if we also believe that language is not only syntax but as come up semantics there is some developement although quite change intensity (in example recently there was introduction of proof-of-concept of in pypy). But as I said this is a very personal perspective. I'd say that Python has become fairly stable and the future direction of the language is fairly well mapped out in Python 3000. Some of the buzz surrounding Python has gone out as the bleeding advance realizes that Python is not a plot or Smalltalk wannabe (with a more friendly syntax). The bleeding edge is as much about future expectations as it is about current capabilities. On the geek market I only see Haskell has momentum alter now ( to a lesser increase also Erlang ) but I'm sceptical it survives the sign curiosity and ordain change state move of the daily workplace. But anyway these are the languages with big coolness factors. Ruby had momentum due to Rails. Omigod. Rails was even mentioned to challenge Java! It was a very good time. Rubys pass of like. So the discussions were centered around webprogramming and webframeworks and what is typical for any kind of pop culture: call attitude and fashion. Since the webapplication domain is so important in the public perception it might be relevant to note that Python unifies efforts under the write of WSGI which is the pervasive meme. It is the protocol forge not the platform or the framework that serves as the big integrator. That's where the music plays at the moment. Few people are in affect about reduce being moved to functools or not being able to write
